GOALIE development success stories

Vince has been working with my son over the past year and has truly helped him develop into a great goalie. It was his mission to move him from A to AA level in one season, and he was able to achieve that. Vince is very committed to my son and his development, ensuring that he provides him with video clips and notes so that he is able to take something away from each of the sessions.

Vince focuses on every aspect of being a great goalie, whether it be the technical skills or the emotional side and the mental challenges with being a goalie; he works with my son to ensure that he is calm and prepared for any situation.

I appreciate Vince's ability to balance positive and constructive feedback, to ensure that my son understands what he is doing well, as well as letting him know where he needs to grow further.

As a parent, I couldn't be happier with the coaching my son Lucas has received. Coach Vince brings a level of detail and organization that stands out immediately, and every session feels purposeful.

What I appreciate most is the human approach he takes with my son. He doesn't just coach skills, but he coaches kids. He takes the time to understand Lucas as an individual, not just as a goalie, which makes a real difference in how Lucas responds to feedback and instruction. The follow-up videos he provides after sessions have been incredibly valuable. They clearly highlight specific areas for improvement and give Lucas a concrete way to track his own progression over time. It's a level of communication and care that goes well beyond what we expected. He's also been steady and motivating during difficult moments, and what has touched me as a parent is that when our team was fighting for the Gold GTHL medal in our division, Coach Vince called Lucas a few hours before his final game and assured him that he would perform great, this really touched our hearts, and rather than adding pressure, he helped Lucas stay focused and confident.

Since training with Vince over the past few months, we’ve seen major improvements in our son’s game. What really stands out is how personalized every session is. Vince watches his games and practices, identifies exactly what needs work, and builds each training session around those areas.

He genuinely cares about each goalie’s overall development, not just what happens during the hour on the ice. He’s always available to answer our questions, provide guidance, and help us understand what our son should be focusing on throughout the season.

One thing we really appreciate is that every session is led by Vince himself, so there’s consistency in the coaching and development instead of working with a different instructor each time. The video reviews and detailed lesson plans have been incredibly valuable, giving us clear feedback and helping reinforce what was taught on the ice.
